How do I combine two metrics into a single widget/chart?

If you're building a custom dashboard and working with multiple metrics, you can actually combine metrics using the same unit into a single widget. Combining metrics will typically make sense for things such as IO, like disk and network for instance.

To do this, there is a subtle way you'll need to drop the metric onto the widget where you'll hover just above the existing metric so that an outline or a shadow appears over the other one.

Here is an example of an empty canvas:



Now I've added CPU to the top and Network In at the bottom:



Now I'll drag and drop a new metric onto the graph - as you can see there doesn't appear to be an open space but if I hover above or below the Network In Metric using Network out it suddenly appears:
